Who We Are

A 501(c)(3)has been formed to help promote space exploration, math and science in our schools and community. After helping out for many years, a group of dedicated space enthusiast have decided to create One Giant Leap, Inc, a non profit to help schools and our community learn about space exploration, pursue science and math in our schools and educate our community about space exploration. We could use some help!

In the past, astronauts such as Dick Gordon (Apollo 12), Charlie Precourt, Sunita Williams, Brian Duffy, Winston Scott, Gus Loria, Dan Burbank, Heide Stefanyshyn- Piper, Al Sacco, Jay Buckey, Steve Bowen, Joe Acaba, Mike Lopez Alegria, Pam Melroy, Janet Kavandi, George Zamka, Stephanie Wilson, Cady Coleman, Joe Tanner and Story Musgrave have all visited schools and towns such as Bedford, Boston, Weston, Groton, Acton, Lawrence, Plymouth, Cambridge, Barnestable, Hanscom AFB, New England Air Museum and many other towns  and organizations with help from us. Over 60,000 children and adults have witnessed astronauts give presentations about their life, missions, training and schooling.

Hopefully some of the students were inspired by them to “Reach For The Stars”.
